I currently live in southwest Virginia with my husband, 2-year old son, and 4-month old daughter. My husband is a Ph.D. student (also an engineer) and I've recently become a stay-at-home mom. My husband & I love to do things ourselves - sometimes to save money, sometimes for fun, sometimes just because! We usually have a list of projects longer than we have time for, but that's life for everyone.
I grew up in South Carolina and living in Virginia still seems like the north to me. :) I'm the middle of three girls and love my family dearly! My mom has always been an amazing seamstress and I'm excited to be learning. If only I had learned more while I was still living at home... oh well!
This blog will hopefully be a bit of diary about projects - successful or unsuccessful. The blogging community is an exciting place & I'm ready to jump in instead of just observing from the sidelines. Please join in - blogging is much more fun when it's interactive!

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by! Yep, I can imagine you do have some interesting conversations - I appreciate that my husband & I can "speak the same language" somewhat. :) We're both CpE's, although he also has one EE degree.
